2020 Past Masters Nominations Deadline: October 9, 2019 (11:59pm EDT)
NCECA's Past Masters session provides a platform during the annual conference for brief, content-rich presentations on recently deceased individuals whose lives and work have contributed notable impacts on our field. Each presenter selected for inclusion in the program will be allotted 8-10 minutes for an image- and text-driven presentation that illuminates the special qualities and accomplishments of an individual life. In a typical year, four to six presentations will be included in the Past Masters session.
Presenters are recognized in the program guide and receive a one-year membership in NCECA, a complimentary conference registration, and an honorarium of up to $300 (subject to meeting publication deadlines). The presenter, who may also be the nominator, will be responsible for relaying the impact of their subject's life and work in a manner that is descriptive, reflective, and insightful.
